The XVI Pärnu Music Festival takes place from  8–18 July 2026, marking 35 years of renewed Estonian independence  with a programme that celebrates  nature, international excellence, and the next generation of musicians .

THE WORLD MEETS IN PÄRNU!

Join us live from Pärnu for the 16th edition of the Pärnu Music Festival. Now firmly established as Estonia’s premier classical music festival, Pärnu attracts visitors from around the globe who travel to the Baltic Sea for 11 days of vibrant music-making with Paavo Järvi, his family, and friends.

From 8–18 July 2026, the XVI Pärnu Music Festival presents world-class concerts in Estonia’s summer capital. This year’s programme features  five orchestras and more than 300 musicians, including international star pianists Rudolf Buchbinder and Alice Sara Ott, as well as outstanding young talents such as siblings  Hans Christian and Henri Christoffer Aavik (Estonia) and Kristīne and Margarita Balanas (Latvia). Ahead of the official opening, conductors participating in this year’s Järvi Academy will present three pre-concerts with the Järvi Academy Sinfonietta in Tallinn and at the Arvo Pärt Centre. Then from 8 July, the Pärnu Concert Hall will come alive with a diverse yet close-knit community of musicians and audiences, enjoying a different programme every evening. And thanks to Pärnu Music Festival TV, audiences around the world can experience the festival wherever they are.
