THE WORLD MEETS IN PÄRNU!

Already for the thirteenth time, the Pärnu Music Festival will offer amazing concerts during the summer. Beginning on 11 July, the festival will bring over 350 musicians to the summer capital of Estonia, but thanks to our own Pärnu Music Festival TV you can enjoy the full programme of the festival from anywhere in the world!

Neeme Järvi and Sinfonietta Rīga will perform at the opening concert and Paavo Järvi and the Estonian Festival Orchestra will give a total of 4 concerts during the festival. This year’s soloists are violist Pinchas Zukerman, cellist Amanda Forsyth, oboist François Leleux, pianist Fazıl Say and soprano Mirjam Mesak. The festival programme also features the traditional Järvi Academy concerts as well as several nights filled with chamber music. Artists of both the Estonian Foundation of Musical Instruments and of the Estonian Festival Orchestra will play in various chamber music settings. Zee Zee, an imaginative and electrifying pianist, will take the stage at the magical night concert. The Järvi Academy Sinfonietta concerts will include Theodor Sink on the cello and Matthew Hunt (clarinet) will give a performance with the Järvi Academy Youth Symphony Orchestra. The orchestral concerts of the Järvi Academy showcase young conductors and the teachers of Järvi Academy's conducting course.
